Illinois mortgage foreclosure runs through the courts, with a report and confirmation hearing after a sale. The statute sets redemption periods measured from service and from judgment, and the state's contractor lien law ties enforcement against lenders and other parties to deadlines measured from completion of work. The state emergency management agency also points to two seismic zones, Wabash Valley and New Madrid, that touch the state.
