Dane Nielsen brings a career built across investment banking, growth equity, and executive leadership to his role as a Capital Advisor at World's Fair Capital. He began in investment banking as a Senior Associate at Odyssey Capital Group, working on financial restructuring, distressed-situation advisory, capital markets advisory, and M&A.
He went on to spend more than five years as Principal at Kensington-SV Global, a Boston-based growth equity firm investing in technology, consumer, and healthcare businesses across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Alongside that work, he built a track record as an investor and board member across a range of companies, including Simplus, a Salesforce Platinum Partner later acquired by Infosys, and Pattern, a leading global e-commerce accelerator.
Most recently Managing Director at Areté Capital Partners and now Chief Financial Officer / Chief Strategy Officer at Nomia Ltd, Dane holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master of Science in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business: the combination of deal experience, operating leadership, and financial rigor he brings to World's Fair Capital's investors and partners.
