Many lenders say they protect broker relationships. What matters is how that promise shows up in the process. This guide explains what we mean at World's Fair Capital and gives you questions to ask any lender before you send them a deal.
What we mean
Your client stays your client. We work the deal with you, not around you. You are part of the file from first submission to closing, you receive the status updates, and your compensation is documented in the Letter of Intent before underwriting begins.
What it looks like in the process
- You register and submit the deal through the broker portal
- The Letter of Intent your client signs shows your compensation
- You and your client both get status emails and a document checklist
- You can track the file in the portal
Questions to ask any lender
- Who will my client hear from, and how often?
- Is my compensation in a document my client and I both see?
- What is the lender's policy on contacting the client directly?
- Can I see where each of my files stands without asking?
Direct lender, plain and simple
We underwrite and close every loan in our own name. You work with the people who structure and decide the deal, which keeps the path between you, your client and the decision short.
